Position Summary

As the Sr. Product Business Analyst you’ll join our growing team, reporting to the Sr. Director Commercial Operations in a key contributor role designed to support the Salesforce platform evolution as it serves Bain partners and leaders in their commercial efforts, globally. You will leverage your business and technical skills to identify opportunities for the platform to address business needs and solve problems. You will provide business requirements to developers in the technical solutions group. You will collaborate with team members in the Commercial Operations team as well as cross-functionally to deliver cohesive solutions that meet the needs of end users. 


Essential Functions

Collaborate with Commercial Operations Product Owner and Product Business Analyst to:

  • Perform technical analysis of new features and advise on solution options
  • Create prototypes (POCs) to socialize with internal stakeholders for initial buy-in
  • Write business requirements in story form to enable the development team’s build and initial QC/testing
  • Address security related access issues and feature/function visibility
  • Perform triage for issues that cannot be addressed by Commercial Operations Support team with the support of Product team
  • Support training content development of new features/functions
  • Perform testing of function/feature enhancement across Sales Cloud and reporting technologies (Tableau, CRMA) aligned to each agile sprint


Constantly improve Commercial Operations service by creating best practices to respond to emerging business needs, opportunities, and challenges:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (Partners, Practice Operations and other Business Function users) to understand business needs and challenges and to set appropriate expectations of roadmap and timing
  • Engage with the technology team to develop new ways of working that enhance process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work with product analysts to expand the set of support instructions that would allow the CRM Operations team to support the end-users more independently
  • Continuously identify opportunities to expand the footprint of the in-app ’Digital Adoption Platform’ WalkMe, to help facilitate ease of understanding of new features released, as the platform evolves
  • Work with the training team to understand user feedback, obstacles, and sticking points, to better inform the platform roadmap 
  • Prepare for periodic internal Commercial Ops discussions re. improvement opportunities in your areas of responsibility


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of work experience in Salesforce
  • Experienced resource from Sales Ops or from the Functional consulting arm of a major SI consulting firm
  • Exposure to at least 2 Salesforce Sales Cloud implementations in the capacity of a business analyst engaging business stakeholders during requirements gathering and sprint grooming agile cycles 
  • Salesforce System Administrator Certification
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Certification
  • Salesforce CRMA and/or Tableau Certification
  • Applicants must have strong analytical, communication and problem-solving capabilities, with demonstrated ability to envision the functional solution 
  • Understand the lead to cash process
  • Author functional requirements (user stories) and related Acceptance criteria as part of the Agile Sprint development process
  • Develop prototypes in Salesforce to allow for stakeholder review and buy-in
  • Triage issues logged by stakeholders and support staff, in collaboration with the solution architect, and create a backlog for the development team
  • Advanced experience with various software applications (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Proven ability to operate in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
