Numan Waheed is a leader in our Americas Enterprise Technology practice, and the lead partner globally on Enterprise Technology topics in Industrial sectors. As such, he is also a member of our Advanced Manufacturing and Services (AMS) practice, as well as our Strategy and Advanced Analytics practices.
Numan advises clients on technology topics across industries, including Automotive, Aerospace, Machinery, and Logistics, and also has experience in the technology sector, retail, consumer goods, as well as fintech and payments. His engagements address issues including digital strategy, IT strategy and optimization, AI and data strategy, Agile operating models and management systems, systems and data architecture, technology cost visibility, and technology performance improvement.
Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Numan was a research associate, focusing on computational simulation, at the Goodyear Institute of Polymer Science. He also previously worked in product and process development for Procter & Gamble.
Numan earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, with a focus on computational modeling, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While there, he minored in finance at the Sloan School of Management. He also holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, with honors, from Cornell University.
In his spare time, Numan enjoys working with the boards and leadership teams of Atlanta non-profits and makes time to be outdoors as much as possible.
