Mat is a leader in Bain's Coro business unit and a member of the Commercial Excellence practice. He advises on the delivery of the Coro product suite, including MoneyMap, for B2B GTM clients.
Previously, Mat was a Director of Strategy & Operations in Bain's New Ventures (Engine 2 Ventures), driving strategic initiatives like launching a VC fund, scaling new SaaS and DaaS businesses, and assessing early-stage investments.
Before New Ventures, Mat led management consulting teams working closely with corporate and social sector clients across North America. In that role, his work focused on Performance Improvement and Strategy in Energy & Natural Resources, particularly Mining and Financial Services.
Mat joined Bain in 2018 after serving as an investment banker at the National Bank of Canada and as an Infantry Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces.
He holds a BCom degree with honors from McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management.
Outside of work, Mat is a devoted father of two and is passionate about kitesurfing, tasting experiences and travel.
