I started at Bain as a strategy consultant, spending 15 years helping clients across retail, consumer goods, and automotive industries. Over time, I saw how strategy and technology were becoming intertwined, and I realized that to truly help clients achieve the best outcomes, I needed to embrace the power of AI and Data Science. This realization led me to pursue a Master’s in Data Science at Berkeley, which ultimately allowed me to be invited to found and scale Bain’s AI hub for South America. The ability to combine strategy with cutting-edge technology is what has kept my journey at Bain exciting and fulfilling.
How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
What drew me to Bain—and continues to keep me here—is the culture of collaboration and the impact we have on our clients. From the start, I saw that Bain consultants don’t just advise; they work side by side with clients, owning the challenges and crafting solutions together. I knew Bain was the right place for me because it offers the perfect environment for someone like me who loves solving complex problems while also working closely with talented, passionate people. Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?
The work I do at Bain is incredibly impactful. One of my most exciting projects involved leading the creation of a data-driven incentive optimization model for a major automaker. This model revolutionized the way incentives were managed and led to increased market share and financial gains, first in Brazil and then expanding globally to markets like South Korea. What excites me is that at Bain, I’m constantly working on the front lines of AI innovation, helping clients achieve extraordinary results. Every day presents a new opportunity to push the boundaries of what’s possible and create real, sustainable value.

I’ve built my own Bain by continuously adapting and expanding my skill set. After 15 years as a strategy consultant, I realized that to keep delivering value to clients, I needed to integrate AI and Data Science into my approach. This evolution allowed me to shape my career around technology and business strategy, always staying aligned with my passion for solving complex, high-impact problems. Bain has given me the space and opportunity to reinvent myself while continuing to deliver value for our clients.
Share some of your favorite work (personal or professional) you’ve done while at Bain.
One of my favorite projects involved leading the development of a predictive model that optimized incentives for an automaker. This project was a major breakthrough—not only for the client, who saw impressive market share growth, but also for me and my team. The project allowed us to blend Data Science with deep industry knowledge and transform how the client approached their business strategy. Seeing this success replicated in multiple countries, and knowing that we built something sustainable that continues to create value, is incredibly rewarding. It’s projects like these that remind me why I love what I do at Bain.
