Maxim Chernovolov

Maxim Chernovolov is a member of our Energy and Natural Resources practice with deep practical experience in Mining and Upstream Oil & Gas.

Maxim has worked with leading national and international players in the industry across many regions, domestically and abroad, including Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He has focused on operating model, strategy and performance improvement projects. Maxim is also knowledgeable about carve-out, expansion, new market entry implications for strategy and operating models.

Beyond this, Maxim is experienced in retail, consumer products and private equity, having worked with many leading manufacturers and financial investors.

Before joining Bain, he worked at another global consultancy firm, as well as York Capital Management, a hedge fund, in the areas of corporate finance and investment management.

Maxim holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
