Junior GL Accountant

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
The person will be responsible for general ledger tasks for the Nordic and Polish entities, working closely with Finance controllers and Finance team members. Also maintain all accounting ledgers, including the monthly preparation of all account reconciliations and journal entries, as follows:
- Bank Reconciliations: Download and book bank statements, clear bank-clearing accounts, and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Journal Entries: Prepare and book PFRON, Payroll, Accruals, Lease, Loan journal entries.
- Monthly reconciliation: Accounts reconciliation in internal tool.
- Cash Collection: Book and clear cash collections records report preparation.
- Reclassifications: Identify and correct prepayments and incorrect AP bookings.
- Intercompany Processes: Oversee intercompany processes, including invoice issuing and reporting.
- Employee Sales Invoices: Issue and book employee sales invoices.
- Accounts Payable: Oversee the AP process, including WHT controlling and accounting
- Maintain contact with internal and external providers and collect Tax Residency Certificates. Participating in Audit tasks, supporting various Tax processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance & Accounting or similar field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger: 1-2 years
- Experience in Polish accountancy – would be an asset
- Fluent English (C1 level)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP,)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
