Dynamic culture
The Washington, DC office consists of a unique blend of different cultures as well as academic and professional backgrounds. We genuinely enjoy working together. After work, those of us that are interested go out to "manager beers," monthly after-work get-togethers at different spots around downtown DC, hosted by a few managers, and some consultants get together on the weekends to compete in the local kickball leagues. Particularly for those moving into the area, it’s a great way to build ties to one of the fastest growing metro areas in the country. Each year, we host several big social events—for example, the office summer meeting, several days where the office comes together to celebrate its successes, appreciate everyone's hard work and take stock of the direction for the future.

Like many other Bain offices, Washington, DC also supports efforts to improve our community, organizing community volunteer service events and providing pro-bono work to local non-profit organizations, including the Anacostia Watershed Society, KIPP DC, the Rock Creek Conservancy, and the Father McKenna Center.
