Building Entrepreneurial Leaders Program


Program Overview:

The Building Entrepreneurial Leaders Program is a highly selective program focused on giving top students of Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino and American Indian descent the opportunity to strengthen their business and leadership skill set while gaining exposure to Bain & Company. The timing of the program, to be held in August, is specifically designed to allow you to fulfill your other obligations for the summer and then attend our program. The BEL program is available in most of our North American offices.

The Six Day Program Will Include...

  • An introduction to the strategy consulting career and the accelerated learning opportunities it provides for top undergraduate students
  • Interactive training sessions that will introduce you to business and leadership skills needed to solve real-world business problems
  • The opportunity to tackle an important business issue for a Bain client and present your findings to management, working side-by-side with a Bain case team
  • Mentorship from an experienced Bain consultant who will actively coach you through solving a business problem
  • Social and networking events, to have fun and get to know other program participants and Bain & Company colleagues

Characteristics of a "Building Entrepreneurial Leaders" Candidate:

  • Current sophomores from Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino and American Indian descent, who plan to graduate in spring 2020
  • Outstanding academic performance
  • Strong leadership and team skills
  • Energized by solving tough problems and driving real impact
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
