Advanced professional degrees

As an Advanced Degree holder, you bring a valuable perspective to casework at Bain. Your expertise, skill set, and natural curiosity are critical inputs to our work in creating change for our clients and allow you to make an impact from day one on the job. Not only will you have a chance to work for clients in the industry most related to your field of study, but you will also benefit from our generalist approach, which allows our team members to develop a broad business skill set that can be applied across all industries and business needs.

AD Summer Programs

Advanced Degree candidates that are considering a full-time Consulting career starting in 2019 are invited to apply for our exclusive AD Summer Programs.

These events are held exclusively for PhDs, JDs, MDs, postdocs, and medical residents and will give selected candidates a deeper look inside life at Bain and the way our case teams work together.

Interested candidates should apply online no later than Friday, April 13th, 2018. In this application, you will have the opportunity to select which event(s) you're applying for (ADvantage, AIC, or both) and to state your location preferences. You will also be asked to complete a few short answer questions regarding your interest in Bain and to submit an updated resume. Application decisions will be communicated in mid-May.

The Advanced Degree application deadlines for our 2018 full-time Consultant & Summer Associate opportunities have now passed.
