Private equity investment in healthcare continues to grow considerably. Bain & Company's 2015 Global Healthcare Private Equity Report states that in 2014, slightly more than $29.6 billion, a dramatic increase from $16 billion in 2013, was invested in healthcare by private equity funds in the form of healthcare buyout deals globally.
