Jorge Rujana leads our Americas Consumer Products practice. He is also a member of our M&A and Divestitures and Performance Improvement practices.

Throughout his time with our firm, Jorge has served top local and multinational clients across North America, Latin America and Europe.

He mainly advises consumer products leaders — most recently across beer, non-alcoholic beverages and food — on growth strategy, complex merger integrations and carve-outs, major cost transformations and strategic due diligence.

Jorge has also frequently led M&A, divestitures and cost transformations in various other industries, such as telecommunications.

His key work has included:

  • Leading multiple diligences, integrations and transformations as part of a global beverage leader’s multi-year M&A growth story, including a $100B+ acquisition and carve-outs of over $30B; and
  • Leading a cost transformation for a leading telecom company, delivering annual savings of $10B.

Beyond his client work, Jorge is deeply involved with our recruiting, people development and diversity efforts. He is a leader of our Latinos at Bain (LATBA), alumni relations, and MBA and diversity recruiting programs.

He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from ITESM.

Jorge lives with his wife and two sons in Dallas, where he is involved in various early childhood organizations. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, music and tennis.
