Jim Wininger is a partner in Bain & Company's Atlanta office. He is an expert in Bain's Industrial Goods & Services and Mergers & Acquisitions practices.
Jim has more than 10 years of management consulting experience, working with senior executives and management teams to address their most pressing strategic issues. He holds deep expertise in the energy, aerospace and defense, automotive and chemicals industries.
Jim advises clients on a range of issues, including corporate growth strategy, business unit strategy, organizational redesign, performance improvement, merger integration, execution of separations and carve-outs, corporate M&A strategy and due diligence.
Prior to joining Bain in 2009, Jim worked at another global consulting firm. In addition, he was an analyst at Enron Corp.
Jim earned a MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia, where he received the William Michael Shermet Award. He received a BA in economics and history from Vanderbilt University.
