Dalton Maine is a partner in Bain & Company's Chicago office.
He leads Bain's global Agribusiness practice and is an active member of the firm's Industrial Goods & Services and Mergers & Acquisitions practices.
Dalton has more than 15 years of management consulting experience, working closely with clients in a variety of industries including agriculture, building products, real estate and professional sports. His industrial work often focuses on the areas of crops, fertilizer products, packaging, manufacturing optimization and supply chain management.
Dalton has also worked extensively in post-merger and turbulent market environments to help clients drive fundamental change to their business models and competitive position.
Prior to joining Bain in 2000, Dalton worked in the Department of Defense as a contract specialist. He spent several years as a player and coach in the Baltimore Orioles minor league system.
Dalton earned an MBA with distinction from the University of Chicago. He graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Business Administration from the University of Richmond, where he received the Clarence J. Gray Award.
